Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using any application, website, or service operated by SouLogic LLC (collectively, "Services"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). Current Services include Arni Pantry and any other platforms SouLogic LLC may release.

If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Services.

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes through the applicable Service or by email. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

2. Eligibility

Geographic: The Services are available to residents of the United States and Canada only. If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), United Kingdom, Switzerland, or any other jurisdiction, you are not permitted to use the Services.

Age: You must be at least 13 years of age to create an account. We collect your date of birth at registration to verify this requirement. We reserve the right to terminate accounts of users who misrepresent their age or location.

3. Account Registration and Security

You must provide accurate, current, and complete information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.

You may not share your account credentials with anyone outside your authorized household or organization. If you believe your account has been compromised, notify us immediately at support@soulogic.io.

SouLogic reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or that show signs of fraudulent activity.

4. Subscription, Billing, and Free Trial

4.1 Free Trial

New Arni Pantry accounts receive a 10-day free trial with full access to all features. The trial begins at account creation — not first login — and cannot be reset or reused. No payment is required during the trial.

4.2 Subscription Plans

After the trial, continued access to AI features requires an active paid subscription. Plans are based on household size: Solo (1–2 members) $19.99/mo, Family (3–5 members) $24.99/mo, Unlimited (6+ members) $34.99/mo. Prices are subject to change with 30 days' notice.

4.3 Billing

Subscriptions are managed through Apple App Store or Google Play Store via RevenueCat. SouLogic does not store payment card information. Subscriptions auto-renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled before renewal.

4.4 Cancellation and Refunds

You may cancel at any time through your device's app store subscription settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; no partial refunds are issued. Refund eligibility is governed by Apple App Store or Google Play Store policies.

4.5 After Expiry

If your subscription lapses, you retain access to manual data entry features. AI features are suspended until a subscription is restored. Your data is retained and accessible upon resubscription.

4.6 Fair Use and Daily Usage Limits

To ensure service quality for all users, AI features are subject to a daily usage limit. Accounts that exceed this limit in a calendar day will have AI access paused until the following day. SouLogic will notify you in-app when a limit is reached. Repeated limit events may result in account review. This applies to all account types including paid subscribers.

5. AI Features and Limitations

Some Services are powered by third-party large language model AI. AI outputs are not professional advice — nothing in any SouLogic Service constitutes medical, nutritional, dietary, legal, or financial advice. AI outputs may be inaccurate. Allergy and safety responsibility rests with you — AI may flag conflicts but this is advisory only. AI conversations are processed by Anthropic, PBC. See our Privacy Policy for details.

6. User Content and Data

You own the data you enter into our Services. You grant SouLogic a limited, non-exclusive license to store, process, and transmit your data solely to provide the Services to you.

We do not use your personal data to train AI models or sell it to third parties. You are responsible for the accuracy of data you enter.

7. Household and Multi-Member Accounts

Where a Service supports multiple users under one account, the account owner is responsible for ensuring all members agree to these Terms before adding them, and for all activity that occurs under the account.

8. Permitted and Prohibited Uses

You may use the Services for personal or household purposes and import content from publicly accessible sources for personal use.

You may not: use the Services for commercial purposes without a separate agreement; scrape or extract data using automated tools; reverse-engineer or create derivative works; violate any applicable law; attempt to bypass subscription requirements; or use another person's account without their consent.

9. Health and Safety Disclaimer

THE SERVICES ARE NOT MEDICAL DEVICES AND ARE NOT INTENDED TO DIAGNOSE, TREAT, CURE, OR PREVENT ANY DISEASE OR HEALTH CONDITION. CONTENT IS FOR GENERAL INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY.

IF YOU HAVE OR SUSPECT A MEDICAL CONDITION, FOOD ALLERGY, EATING DISORDER, OR OTHER HEALTH CONCERN, CONSULT A QUALIFIED HEALTHCARE PROFESSIONAL BEFORE USING THE SERVICES OR CHANGING YOUR DIET.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. SOULOGIC DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICES WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF HARMFUL COMPONENTS.

11. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SOULOGIC SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICES.

SOULOGIC'S TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) $100 OR (B) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO SOULOGIC IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

12. Dispute Resolution and Arbitration

Informal resolution: Contact us at support@soulogic.io and attempt to resolve the dispute informally for at least 30 days before filing any formal claim.

Arbitration: Unresolved disputes shall be settled by binding individual arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association under its Consumer Arbitration Rules.

Class action waiver: You waive any right to participate in class action lawsuits or class-wide arbitration against SouLogic.

Governing law: These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Minnesota.

13. Termination

SouLogic may suspend or terminate your account for violation of these Terms, fraudulent activity, or for any reason with reasonable notice. You may delete your account at any time through the applicable Service or by contacting support@soulogic.io.

14. Changes to Terms

We will notify you at least 14 days before material changes take effect, via the Service or email. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
